I need to wave goodbye to somebody. Like the wave you give to a person going off in a small sailing boat to a big sea. The kind of wave that says you may never see her again. For what it's worth, please pray with me for Yen. For safety, for confidence, for the future, for the goal and ascertation of love in all it's forms, both for oneself and for all around. I have two moms, both named Doris. One birthed me and one raised me. Yen had once said that my being adopted wasn't a very special thing - but having two moms is. They pray for her along with me, Yen, sail well. For me it's like watching a soul mate drift away. Her boat is so small.
Here's my sail away song for Yen. It's called 'Sailing' by Christopher Cross. I hope she likes it.
Hear it on the podcast;
It's not far down to paradise
At least it's not for me
And if the wind is right you can sail away
And find tranquility
The canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Believe in me
It's not far to never never land
No reason to pretend
And if the wind is right you can find the joy
Of innocence again
The canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Believe in me
Sailing
Takes me away
To where I've always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
And soon I will be free
Fantasy
It gets the best of me
When I'm sailing
All caught up in the reverie
Every word is a symphony
Won't you believe in me
Sailing
Takes me away
To where I've always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
And soon I will be free
It's not far back to sanity
At least it's not for me
And when the wind is right you can sail away
And find serenity
Oh, The canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Believe in me
Sailing
Takes me away
To where I've always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
And soon I will be free
